WHAT DOES YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT MEAN?

All funds raised raised at the Summer Soiree will go to the Children's Brain Tumor Tissue Consortium (CBTTC). CBTTC is a collaborative, multi-institutional research program dedicated to the study and treatment of childhood brain tumors. The mission of the CBTTC is to find cures and improve treatments for children diagnosed with brain tumors. To achieve this mission, the CBTTC collects high quality brain tumor biospecimens and associated clinical data to facilitate the genomic analysis of biospecimens. The CBTTC has established a collaborative, multi-institutional tissue and data repository to enable the collection and analysis of the specimens.

Both Children's National Medical Center and Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago are members of the CBTTC. The Lilabean Foundation and the Winning With Wyatt Foundation are happy to be collaborating to support the efforts of the CBTTC.

SPONSORING FOUNDATIONS

The Lilabean Foundation

The Lilabean Foundation (LBF) was founded in 2011 to help find a cure for the nearly 4,000 children a year who are diagnosed with brain cancer. Over the past six years, LBF has raised  $450,000, which has been donated directly to research efforts at the Brain Tumor Institute at Children’s National Medical Center. In addition to wanting to help find a cure for the 30+ types of pediatric brain cancer, LBF is also dedicated to finding safer and more efficient treatment options. In addition to raising funds, LBF seeks to raise awareness of the severity of pediatric brain cancer and the funds needed to sponsor critical research.

Winning With Wyatt

Winning With Wyatt's mission is to promote awareness of pediatric brain tumors and to raise funds to support research of this deadly disease.
