About Us

The Lilabean Foundation (LBF) was founded in 2011 to help find a cure for the nearly 4,000 children a year who are diagnosed with brain cancer. Over the past six years, LBF has raised $800,000, which has been donated directly to research efforts at the Brain Tumor Institute at Children’s National Medical Center.

In addition to wanting to help find a cure for the 30+ types of pediatric brain cancer, LBF is also dedicated to finding safer and more efficient treatment options. In addition to raising funds, LBF seeks to raise awareness of the severity of pediatric brain cancer and the funds needed to sponsor critical research. For more information about LBF, click here.
